Hey guys Any one had any luck getting some long battery life readings out of windows 7... im using it at the moment but i cant even get the Power saver plan to show and not be hidden :(.

I really want to be able to get a config that pushing 3+ hours so i can be more confident lugging this laptop around for text/web based use.

tweaks.programs.settings... AND MAX runtimes (along with data) welcome!

Looks like There may be a reason Power saver plan is hidden unless you go to (more power options).. i experenced a crash while in powersaver.. and little to no improvment over Balanced.
If any one thinks i can improve these results please PM .. while i understand Online Flash streaming draws alot more than Webtext/Word use.. i would like to see more on the 3h side of battery life.

That's pretty good, I can't get 2 hours with my brightness at max with balance profile.

People got 4 hours on the M860TU?

News to me... I'd love to get 4 hours under any circumstances on this laptop, just to type notes.

I'm considering a secondary notebook just because of the abysmal battery life on this laptop actually.
