I would like to start off by thanking you all for your excellent input concerning Clevo products. I find all your input very informative.
I just purchased a Blackhawk XR5 today (Thursday 13DEC) online. That is all fine and good but I tried calling sales via PC Microworks (1-888-59-MICRO) but I was put on hold for an hour. Finally I just gave up and ordered via the internet but one would think that sales would be the first to answer. I made sure to call them at the right times and everything, I also tried calling customer service and tech support and it all was just waiting on hold. I know a lot of good things have been said about PC Microworks as far as customer service is concerned so I find this odd. I have also sent numerous emails with no answer. I look forward to using my Blackhawk when I get it, hopefully PC Microworks has not gone under.
I would appreciate any input. Thanks.![]()

They are very busy since their offer with the 8800M GTX is among the best on the market.
Rest assured you made the right choice! -
That is a bit strange though. You really should call, as it is likely you can get extra discounts. Try that sales number again, and enter this extension.
"6599" for Thomas. He was my sales guy, and has been awesome. Hope this helps... if he asks who gave you his extension, tell him it was Simon. -
Actually just got a call from Thomas, thanks for his extension though. Gave me the $300 dollar discount and $100 dollars for being in the military. You can't beat these prices! He has all my order info and the system will be shipping end of December. He said they were having issues with a couple of phone lines and they were swamped with calls for the new 8800M GTX. I cant wait for this system to own Oblivion! Ha.
Thanks for all the input. -
hahah... i think Thomas is actually my account guy too... and by "account guy" wen somethings wrong, you speak to the SAME guy all the time... talk about good service, ive neva seen that before. But yea, if you talk to them, they're good with fixing problems and giving discounts. Eva since i bought one back in sept. wen like nobody heard of them, now EVERY1 here is like... yey for pcmicroworks lol. I guess good service does pay off

Thomas was my account guy as well.
-
Hmmm. I am starting to wonder if its just one dude running the whole show.......I sure hope not....Would be kinda funny though.

Hmm.. My sales guy was also Thomas.. Anyone ordered with someone else??
-
Nope, count me in the Thomas bandwagon. I called and simply wanted to talk to someone about pricing and so forth and they took my number down and Thomas called me a couple of hours later and spent over an hour on the phone with me. After I realized how much time they spend with people over the phone I didn't feel bad at all about waiting to talk to someone, he gave me his complete attention. That was nice and worth the wait.
-
I did call once after losing the extension for Thomas, and I was connected to someone else, who then directed me to Thomas. A bit odd that we all have the same sales guy though....... I am starting to think they are much smaller than I origanally thought
-
I was told that they are about 30 employees strong. I cant verify it though.
-
Im going to start calling under different names from different phones and see if I get anyone other than Thomas. Sounds like a really good use of my time.......
-
Hahaha! Maybe you should start getting paranoid again.
I guess that if you ask how many that orded from "Justin" you get a couple hundred answers. Perhaps it's the same deal with "Thomas" -
Not sure I would have ordered if I couldn't get ahold of anyone...
I would keep on pinging them to get the final word..

Maybe different guys same name.. We should ask for the last name and DOB to be sure its the same guy..
-
Id rather it be one guy, than an army of Thomas's
Maybe I'm just paranoid...but
