I thought that was a given bud.

Mine hit 200w by the way running stock clocks but it was a peak.

Yep, shows in HWinfo as maximum, I also have Nvidia's stupid dynamic boost off.

Its only done it a few times however its more common to see peaks of 160-180w. Not sure what is causing it but hey ho.

Nice! Hopefully you can figure out a way to mod the vaporchamber to fit it, or are you planning trying out the t-shape heatsink?

I believe Meaker is on a P870TM1, t-shape offers easier modding compared to the vaporchamber since the 3xxx mounting is wider. He could also have ordered that aliexpress kit that fits 3xxx cards and p870 :)

    Something akin to this:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...s-now-supported.825558/page-242#post-11103190

It's impressive to have sourced a 3xxx mxm card in the first place.

It helps to have contacts for the card that's for sure. It's a custom heatsink I am getting ;) might be using some extra features of my control unit on the smart dock I built..

Yeah @ViktorV is helping me out source the heatsinks and Sager managed to source me a card as a favour (it's not like there are a bunch out there) and it should hopefully come together into something interesting.

I don’t know why your resellers say that this is a problem, but we have no problems purchasing Clevo 30 series cards, we can purchase any 3060-3070-3080 for you separately from the laptop

Thanks will do, just need to sort out RAm first 16GB is so not enough for me right now I need 32GB minimum. But defo will get the PSU as that would make if easy to carry the laptop about.

These fans provide up to 35% more air density and are noticeably quieter than standard fans. These fans keep the temperature at 68-70 degrees at 55% of fan rotation, standard fans need to rotate at 100% to maintain the same temperatures.

So I did the shunt mod, I got about a 10% increase in performance, gpu shows 100w total power draw lol which means it’s definitely working correctly. I’m glad there is some resistance if there wasn’t the gpu core would go into 2d clock mode and be stuck at 210mhz…

    Anyway here are some images:

It’s not the neatest application but it will do for now. Furmark FPS have gone from 185fps stock FHD option to 200fps!!!
Which is inline with the roughly 10% improvement I’ve seen across the board. I will do some meter readings of the card to see how many watts it’s pulling… but for now it’s a success :D
