So i got my Sager NP8130 and installed Windows 7 because i ordered it without a system, then installed skype, but the computer does not recognize my headset. I can hear everything fine, its just that when i try to talk into the mic, no one can hear me. Is it a driver problem? Did i miss some kind of driver? If not what can it be?

Does it work if you do not have the mic of the headsets plugged in?

Did you install the realtek audio driver off your driver disk? If you go to Control panel > system > device manager, do you see any devices with yellow question marks? If so, it means you missed some device drivers.

    Troubleshooting:

    1. Check the connection (is it plugged in all the way?)
    2. Check the audio devices (Is it enabled? is it the default communication device? Is it unmuted?)
    3. Check Skype (Do you have the correct mic selected? Is the mic unmuted? Can you pass the echo test?)
    3. Check the drivers (is it installed?)
