I have problems with my mic, It has a static sound. Whenever I turn on the mic it has this terrible noise, like "uuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh" that simply won`t go away no matter what.
I already tried to:
1) Install newer driver from the Realtek`s site.
2) Install newer driver from Clevo`s site.
3) Uninstall all drivers and use a generic Windows`s driver.
4) Update nVidia`s drivers as stated in other forums.
None of these solved the problem.
Besides that, when I mess up with the sound configuration on Windows, if I set up no microphone gain in the "Levels" tab in "Microphone options" I end up with a very very low volume on the microphone and people can`t quite hear me.
The system came with Realtek HD Audio drivers installed.
* The microphone is integrated to the laptop on top of the screen. I didn`t try with a jack one because i don`t have one *
How can I solve this issue?

Did you check the mic volume and gain? Maybe it's overdriven.

That`s exactly the problem. If I set no gain than nobody hears me. If I set +10db or +20db gain I end up with a horrible static noise.

I agree sounds like a faulty part, luckily it can be swapped.

Ah ok then, that`s bad news, I`ll contact the support then. Thank you.
