Can expresscard drives, achieve results similar to those of TurboMemory?

The significant gains to be had from TM, are they derived from ReadyBoost/User-Pinning? ReadyDrive?

Can User-pinning be adapted to utilise drives other than the Intel TM?

    Thanks.
