Hi everybuddy - I get pretty good FPS in vanilla minecraft with the max fps setting and everything on high (around 100 fps), but installing a 256 texture pack drops the framerate down to around 30 fps.
I notice that the GPU utilization is only around 20-30%. Does this sound like an Enduro issue?

    Thanks!

It may be more of a ram issue than gpu issue. I use a 512 texture pack and it actually uses 7.8gigs of ram on average but runs smooth since i have 16gigs.

I had a 7970m. I was actually getting 30-45 FPS on the normal texture pack with Enduro "set" to use the 7970m on Java and javaw (As well as everything else I could find). I have 16g Hyperx.

I switched to the 680m and set Optimus to use the 680m on it and I get 200-300 FPS depending (Underground/above ground) on the same setup.

You might need to try changing to different drivers to see which one runs Minecraft the best right now, but from my personal experience it is Enduro.

I'm not sure if it's a RAM issue. My desktop has 8gb with a GTX460 and texture packs run real nice. I'm hoping this Enduro hotfix does the trick!

    Thanks for your replies :)

Hopefully the enduro fix helps you, I'm on the 12.7 driver with 7970M and it runs very smooth even with the 512 texture pack so also might just be a setting.
