Hi all, another day - another question.
After much research I have decided that I am going to get a Rock Xtreme 770 (clevo M750RU). My problem now is getting the most for my money.
I'm not getting a HD-DVD drive as they will get much cheaper (than the £200 that Rock adds) and I'm only getting 1GBRAM as i can buy an extra 2GB stick for cheaper than they want to charge me (£145).
My problem is with the Mini-PCI TV Tuner option. Having never watched TV on my laptop i'm not sure of the benefit but of more concern is the extra £75 they will charge me for it. What would be the standard model they use (it's non MCE) and could I buy it cheaper?
That's the main question here as many of you will i'm sure have taken this option. A more off topic question is are internal laptop tv tuners any good for Standard and High Definition viewing and thus is it worth getting and installing it myself?
It might be worth pointing out that I live in the UK and as always thanks in advance.

The TVtuner is not a digital tuner, so a big nono to HD viewing
I don't know the quality of the thingie yet, since I'll get mine only tomorrow (I hope it's good though), but I did always have a TVtuner card in my desktop, and that had always a nice picture

Thanks for that, I hope it's all you expected. I thought it was digital though, Rock describes it as;
Internal Digital DVB-T/Analogue Hybrid - non MCE [+£75.74]
but as i said, i'm not really up on the TV tuner knowledge. -
Would this be useful to you: http://blog.scifi.com/tech/archives/2007/09/20/pinnacles_pctv.html ?
