    Will the Mobility Radeon HD 5870 in my Sager NP8690 work in an Alienware M17x? I know many users purchase these cards as upgrades for their Alienware's, does anyone know if the Sager card is compatible?

    It should be compatible, but yours does not have the CF connector.

    Thus, the m17x users do not like the 5870m from Clevo as they can't use CF.

    Well there are some m15x users who want it as a single GPU I think
