I was wondering if anyone knows if I could modify/replace the webcam on a NP6165 with higher quality 720p cam, if so are most laptop webcams interchangeable short of the mounting methods used.

    If I am correct, the NP6165 has a 2 MP webcam. A 720p webcam would actually be a lower resolution. 2 MP = 1200p.

I'm not sure whether it is possible to change it to a sharper webcam though, if that's your issue

There are no features for this webcam, which is why I want to change it.
My biggest reason is no lighting adjust.
