    Hi.

I mixed up the model numbers and the thread is about p771dm-g and not p775.

Just bought a clevo p771dm-g and I am having a issue with the monitor.

When I tiltt the monitor it flickers or goes completely black and there are som green horizontal and vertical lines when this happens

I guess it is a bad connection either to the monitor or the motherboard,
    Anyone else experiencing this?

Hoping I don`t have to ship it back to the dealer

I would think that is the cable to the display that is either loose or is faulty. If it is only happening when you tilt the screen, I'd think that is more than likely the issue.

You might want to check with your seller of the computer. But if you are comfortable with opening the system, you could check the cable to make sure it is seated properly, but may want to check if that would cause any issues with your warranty on the system if you do that.

To call the screen a monitor is technically correct actually ;)

Sometimes the screen actually shuts down completely and I have to restart the pc to get it going again.

I am going to take it apart now to have a look at it.

Is there a service manualorinstruction video on how to take it apart and get to the screen connector?

Yes, it does sound like the video cable. Your safest route is to send it back for service. If you can reconnect it yourself (sorry, I don't have a guide for you) and it works, great! But if the cable is bad or the issue isn't the cable, you're back at square one and I imagine you risk your warranty if you damage anything in the process.

Thank you for the advice, pulled everything apart last night and reset the cable without any luck. :(

I belive the cable is faulty, as it just get wors everytime i move the lid and I now have a hard time even to get a image on the screen.

I bought it in Norway from a reseller called Multicom

Yep, my thought exactly. I'm waiting for the P775, and this is the first time I've seen one available for sale. Waiting for the US resellers to get it in stock, but hopefully that will be soon since this Norwegian company has it available.

Hope the screen issues get sorted out. Would like to hear more about your experience with it over in the owner's forum.

    No. It's a 1080p display.

I'm sorry. I see I have mixed the model numbers. It is actually a p771dm-g and not a p775
