So I was replacing thermal pads on my graphics card the other day and I found that some of the transistors on the bottom of the board were missing. Would this have something to do with the high temperatures that some users have been experiencing, including me? Heres an image to show what I mean.

Hi, they are filter caps, so long as the values are good then they wont impact temperature.

High temperatures are simply from high core frequencies and voltages in the 880M, a good paste job and maybe some voltage tweaking should help if you want to tweak.
