I'm sorry in advance if this has been brought up before - I didn't find any info on it.
What are the possibilities for setting up multiple monitors with the Clevo ? I am not so much interested in gaming but more in extended desktop. If anyone has any experience with that or could link somewhere I would be very greatful :)

I want to set it up via the 7970m, not through the puny hd4000 settings...
We all know what video outputs it has, so some useful info on the possible configurations, how to set it up..... Would be awesome :)

While this model has several output options you can only use one at at time along with the built in screen. Or you can do two externals if the built in is turned off. Basically it will support two monitors at one. Beyond that you would need a USB adapter if you want to do two externals and the built in one all at the same time.

Yeah I don't know of any laptops that will support the built in monitor with two externals except the rMBP.

There is always the Matrox Dual or triple head to go option as well.

Thanks guys! I'm using two Displaylink Zotac usb 3.0 adapters. Just wondering: do you just work your ext through the Intel GUI ? Is that the only option ? I haven't looked into it that much yet, but how do I preserve performance for let's say, a 30" ext monitor ?

How's the performance with the 3.0 adapters? Any issues?

The msi gx60 does too. You can even shut off the internal and connect 3 external outputs to it and run eyefinity.

No issues with the adapters. Pretty smooth with the ivy bridge :) As for the eyefinity I read you need a Displayport for one + a free combo of 2 hdmi/dvi , for a total of 3 ext.

Anyone got any info on the extra display for the p150em/7970m combo though ?
I mean, I was kind of expecting some amd - settings here, the intel settings don't include anything about performance resorces......

Since the displays run through the intel chips, with th em series you are at the mercy of its display limitations (2 at any time) unless you use an adaptor. The extra monitors will not have 3d acceleration though.
