So I got my Creative X-Fi Notebook card today (say what you want, I think it's phenomenal ) and everything went smoothly, until I just noticed that when I hit the Mute button on my upper touchpad it no longer lights up when muted.

I trust this has something to do with the sound drivers being handed over from my system's Realtek High Definition Audio to the X-Fi card.

I have an NP2090 listed in my sig. Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks,
    DTd00d

You mean it doesn`t show the icon for mute?
Hmm, update your creative sound card drivers then, the ones on the cd might be old.

Nono the mute feature works great in Vista and everything, icons are all there. It's just the light on the touchpad doesn't light up anymore when it's muted. Still mutes/unmutes, just no light.

I updated the drivers to the latest ones for Vista before playing with it.
