I purchased my laptop a little over a year ago from Xotic, which has the following specs:
1x Sager NP5793 Custom Sager Notebook (Built on Clevo M570RU-U / M571RU-U)
- Display: 17" WSXGA+ "Glare Type" Super Cl
- Processor: ~IntelĀ® T8100 45nm "Penryn" Core
- Video Card: 512MB PCI-Express nVidia GeForce 8800M GTX
- Ram: 4,096MB DDR2 667 PC2
And today I ran 3DMarks06 and got a score of 8769. Is it a bit low? If so, anything I can do to up my score?
My video card drivers are 7.15.11.7570, Bios version (not sure if this is relevant): 62.92.23.0.14
Anyway, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

that score is close to where it should be.
if you tweak your OS and drivers you will get a few hundred more points.
just make sure you disable PowerMizer (in Nvidia Control Panel)... if its there.
and make sure to set Windows Power Options to Max Performance.
other than that its fine... 3DMark06 is a bit inflated depending on the CPU.
you should look at the other scores:
- SM2.0
- HDR/SM3.0
those are the scores that can be compared directly to other notebook videocards. -
bit low..
I get like 9800 ish with my system below. try the latest nvidia drivers? -
I got a 9061 with my specs a few days ago, so I think you're good.
My 3DMarks06 score seems a bit low...
