    I don't know how good is this result. THis is what i got when i run 3dmark on my lappie.

    Do you have just 1 8700M GT? Not 8700M GT SLI? If so thats a good score, but run 3dMark06 and post that's a bit more up to date method of testing. What driver version are you running?

    ahhhhhhhhh, no wonder, it was 3dMark 05.

    I would be amazed if anyone got above 6000+ in 3dMark 06 with a 8700M GT.

    yup, i get about 6100 marks with my oc'd 7900gtx. but I never go by 3dmark. who games at 1280 or 1024 anyways. it's a complete joke. :D

    FRAPS is the benchmark tool of real men. j/k. sortove.

    lol, i just noticed. the OP has a quad! that's like 4000+ in the CPU score for 3dmark.

    in reality 3dmark should remove the CPU score and just score the GPU.
