    what did xoticpc send you to notify that your laptop was being shipped? I also heard there was a verification before shipping? What was your steps in processing your transaction?

    XoticPC. Ordered on Tuesday 08 July, 2008. It was pretty quick, once it was released it was put into step2 for building, and today it was shipped ups. Just got a email today saying it was shipped yesterday.

    If you don't mind can you also test the games at 1680x1050 =/ I don't use wuxga because it hurts my eyes for work.

    nice! lol I have all my review software ready to go too. I will be testing with everything chaz used on his last 5793 review for those interested. But If i stick with the 9800GTX don't expect a review for a while :( . Good luck Jum Your shipping announcement makes me excited for mine.

    Just changed my pre order to the 5796 on xotic and the status changed to building. I was going to get 9800gtx with silver trim, but decided since I needed it in mid august, I couldn't risk the chance it will be delayed. Reviews and stuff when I get it.

    If you are going to be moving and are afraid the machine will be delivered to the wrong address, contact XoticPC and tell them to get the package held at the nearest outlet to you, so you can pick it up in person.

    Mine also shipped and should arrive on Monday. I'm pretty excited as I've never owned a decent gaming laptop (my current work laptop gets about 600 marks in 3dmark06). The reason I went with the 5796 is because I'll be travelling a lot in the coming months and wanted to have a nice system with me during my lots of downtime alone overseas.

    I can't wait!

    Is the 5796 going to be offered with the 3870? Xoticpc and sager still show it as a option, but offer not configuration option.
