I just thought I would post a few pics of my lappy sittin on a Cryo LX to help give an idea of how big the cooler is. It is huge. Alot bigger than I was expecting. Supports the 9262 very well.
Does it do what it is supposed to do? It's size and cost has left a bigger impression than it's performance, but it does drop temps a 2-3 degrees.

OoOo Nice.... any tests to show how much of a temp drop you got?
Looking into one of these... but debating which one.
*edit* hehe just looked at pics... didn't see ur post >.< 2-3 degrees.. that doesnt seem much -
>.> I'm sorry but that has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen...its bigger than the laptop....
-
And his laptop's a 9262 *laughs* The cooler must be...2" thick or more? I was actually thinking of getting this one at one point. But 2-3 degrees only, with 3 120mm fans? That kinda sucks.
After some research, turns out the cooler is 2.25" thick at the back. Wow... -
are those 2-3C temps with fans set to automatic mode? can u change the rpm on those 120mm fans?
BTW. 2-3C is not that bad, its always something -
wow! I am impress.
look like a tank that equip a F-16 on the top. -
Maybe it would drop the temp even more in an area with a bit more airflow? Everything looks so close to the wall.
-
Like I said, it's huge, it can accomodate a 19" lappy. The fan speed is adjustable (via a little wheel that be seen in the third and forth pic) and very quite. I can hardly tell a difference in sound between min and max settings. I am on my way work at the moment but when I return I will try to post some pics of CPUID temps while idle and under load with no cooler and then with. It's in an air conditioned room set at about 75F with a ceiling fan. No stagnant air around it.

That is good question bwhxeon, another thing I will have to check once I get home from work. It has 3x120mm fans that are fit snuggly side by side. So if you want to move them, you will have to get rid of one of them. I am sure it is possible to flip them to reverse the air flow. Here is a link to some better pictures of the cooler itself (about half way down the thread). I do have plans to whip out my dremel tool and drill to open up the air flow on this puppy some more (I will provide an update if temps improve afterwards).

More, more, more...I want more pics...can't get enough of the 9262!
-
how does the cyro compare to the NC2000. i have a NC and it has space for 2 more fans in it but the ports have been blocked. hehe might be an NC3000 coming soon me thinks.
-
How is the angle on it? Is it the same as the NC1/2k? It looks a bit steeper maybe and the 9262 looks like it might slide off. That's my main concern with getting a notebook cooler - I don't like the angle (I think, haven't ever used one at that angle).
-
^^ no problems with the angle mate.. the NC2000 has rubber strips on its front and back edge. plus the sager has rubber feet too so you can position the feet to sit on these rubber strips on the cooler. no movement whatsoever.
-
I also just picked up this cooler too, yeah it's big, angle for typing is great (for me anyways) fans are not as loud as I thought they would be and they are placed at just the right spots for the NP-9262 and cooling is fantastic (played HALO, yeah the original one for about two hours and never seen the GPU rise over 58c maybe it's not to much of a strain on the GPU with this game but....will try it with some more recent games)
Finish is awesome especially in black, it goes very well with the 9262.
Not much for portability but at least it folds up if you want to take it with you + this thing pushes a lot of air out!
I like this cooler, works well, looks nice, not to loud, but it's a little $$but well worth it IMO.And this cooler has some well place rubber on the front and side of this thing so the 9262 does not move at all!
The only negative I have about it is there is no off button for it,so every time you do not want to use it you have to unplug but that's not too big of a deal.
Since I really do not take this laptop out anywhere( have a more portable one for the road) the big size of this cooler really does not concern me, as long as it get's the job done ( and it sure does) I would recommend this cooler for anybody that has a 9262.
