    320GB 5200RPM hard drive is both cheaper and faster than your 200GB hard drive.

    It's because of higher platter density that the benchmarks on the 320GB 5400RPM drive turn out to be the same as the benchmarks on the 200GB 7200RPM drive.

    I got the same exact thing except 320GB 7200 RPM HD. I'm kinda worried about heating issues and portability though...

    If you can afford it, upgrade to the 320GB 7200 RPM hard drive. Otherwise "downgrade" to the 320GB 5400 RPM hard drive has it actually has better performance than the 200 GB at 7200 RPM. I believe it has something to do with the density and a few other factors.
