Not bad I assume? The HDD goes up 5C when web browsing and so on...

I can't believe I was worried about HDD temps with this computer

I forgot to mention in the title that my PC is the Sager NP8662/Clevo M860tu

I did tweaking on Vista such as disabling Indexing, SuperFetch, Defender, and Restore points and such. Then obviously the INtel Matrix Storage, I assume it was installed correctly.

I love this thing...gaming extensively on Crysis has only brought it (HDD) up to 53C max, and the temps of the GPU are usually only 45-60 or something, I don't recall, basically nothing to worry about.

What I meant was to remove the NC2000 and have your laptop sit on something flat that's not the NC2000, haha.

Oh okay, I will do that.

In the meantime, these are the temps on the cooler, but the cooler is shut off:

1C difference in the HDD but maybe the time or something made a difference, I don't know...
but other then the HDD, everything is colder on the ZALMAN Even when its off :p

    not a big difference though

Yes, those are the temps I expected for idle for your notebook with the NC2000 at max fans, fans off, and without the cooler. Notebook coolers do their job best when the system is on load.

Ummm I would assume the temp of my house which is 76

But thats what my AC is set to.

My room might be a little hotter cause of all the electronics and its obviously small.

Anyway, here are my temps after playing Aion Closed beta for like 20 minutes, then switching to Crysis for maybe 15 minutes:

BTW as for Crysis, I am hitting GREAT Frames per second, and I have everything on "Very High" except for Object Quality (High) Motion Blur (High) and Sound (High)

My Resolution however isnt at the highest..setting it to the highest gets me down to probably 20FPS. But regardless the game looks gorgeous on the res I am playing on. And added with the smooth gameplay.

    This laptop is fantastic.
