Have owned it for about a month now, purchased through xotic.

Used it last night without the hint of a problem, today I go to power on and no post.

System powers on, only the power light and the yellow Bluetooth light come on (nothing else even flashes). That's all.. I tried pulling the ram to see if I could get a reaction from it but nothing.

    Any ideas ?

I'm really at a loss.. Not looking forward to sending it back and who knows how long before I get it back with the holidays coming..

    No change :(

It either just stays on with only the 2 lights I mentioned (the fans will come on and off) or it will turn off automatically for 1sec and then back on for 30sec and repeat..

Really weird/disappointing, I've been working with computers a long time and never seen one die this way..

Get this, now holding the power button won't shut it down anymore....??? I have to pull the battery for it to turn off..

Technology is such that no matter the quality of the product, there are always the anomalies that will have those faults. Your computer is definitely displaying symptoms that are very abnormal and rare, and it is unfortunate that you had to receive such an anomaly. Fortunately, you are still under warranty so you can fix it (don't do anything that would void your warranty that could potentially fix it). Just send it in, your reseller is reputable, I'm sure they can help you out.

It does seemed bricked.. Problem is I didn't try to update the bios :confused2:

I did update the bios 4 weeks ago a couple days after getting it, but since then I've hardley used it.. Maybe played Starcraft a couple times and ran future mark once, the rest of the time is been a web browsing machine. CPU/gpu temps have never gone over 70c (it's always sitting on a big thermaltake cooler).

Eek, sorry to hear about the problems FastM!

Besides pulling the AC adapter and battery and pressing that power button, you could also try reseating the RAM. Simply removing it and plugging it back in. If that still doesn't help, feel free to shoot me a PM or any Xotic rep on the board and they'll get you info on how to get the RMA set up.

Got word back directly from Sager,

Bad Bios chip... This is the first time iv'e ever seen something like that. Sager said they cut off the bad one and re-soldered a new one.

I know your all thinking I messed up a BIOS flash or something went wrong during (I would think that reading this thread). I swear... I did flash it 3-4 weeks ago and its worked perfect since.

I should have it back on the 3rd..
