I think I found the backpack that will protect my future NP9261 http://www.slappa.com/site/laptop_cat.html ?![]()

You'll have to write a review. I'd interested if it really fits a 926/61. When they say fits most 17 inch laptops, it genarally doesn't fit ours.

looks to me that the NP9261 ( 11.75"W x 15.5"D x 2.35"H) fits without any problem in this backpack (Inner laptop sleeve dimensions: 14” (w), 16” (h), 2.5 ” (d)) -
wow those are def sweet thanks for the link
-
hmz
i'm trying tofind the difference between the spider and the matrix
dimensions are the same
technology is the same
price is the same
even the explanation is the same
only drawing isn't the same (but who cares)
anybody else can ome up with more differences? -
Im thinking to buy Surf Pack from Oakley - http://oakley.com/pd/4582 or Spider one from Slappa for my NP5790. Im gonna get my NP5790 from Xoticpc in about 7-10 days, cant wait.
-
thats one sweet backpack
-
It's not waterproof...
-
Oh that is a nice one. Looks like neoprene too. I wouldn't want to run around with that thing in the rain. Or I'd have to test it's waterproof-ness before I would. Alot of money sitting inside it to trust just there say-so.
Also 80 buck's cheaper than the Pelican I've ordered.
I dicided to go with that one that. Hawk375 mentioned.
http://pelican.com/cases_detail.php?Case=1495CC1
http://www.pelican-case.com/1495cc1.html
According to my dad I Could drive my Jeep onto of the case with the laptop in it.
Also I don't have to worry about driving around with my top off and getting a little wet with it and could leave it in with it locked up to the frame. If I hadn't seen the pelican in all its glory I'd probably bought this. -
Thanks for the links odessa.
TornMorals, I agree it's a nice case and I'd probably get it if I wasn't going in and out of the airport a couple of times a month. With the other bags I'm carrying, I need something I can put on may pack and that has a bit of room for some other stuffl -
You might want to check out the backpacks from Spire ( http://www.spireusa.com)...the largest pack has a removable sleeve which should fit those dimensions perfectly.
-
-
Those bags look really nice! I'm probably going to be ordering one of their backpacks when I purchase my laptop.
-
so I guess the NP9261 would fit in it? I'm reaaally considering getting one of those bags, they're so cool
-
I don't know if the NP9261 will fit, but it says that it will fit up to a 17" notebook. I guess what we'll have to do is get the measurements for the height of the laptop and double check the measurements of the backpack.
-
im def interested in one of these for my 5791.. anyone know dimensions of this pack?? and wow it holds 2 17" systems?? this thing must be huge?? anyone think it is heavy?? love more info on it and love the way it looks
-
the dimensions of the pack are mentioned somewhere att he bottom
the M570RU should fit without a problem -
wow nice looks like one of my next buys... thanks
-
i'm thinking bout getting it as well
it's either that or one from the waterproof store (mentioned in another topic)
-
link please to the other one?
i am not to concerned with how it looks i simply want the most padded thing i can get to not damage the sharp corners of the 5791.. any other suggestions? or anyone know who makes the most padded ones out there??? -
This one: http://store.thewaterproofstore.com/animasblk.html
I don't know, but if it's submergible, I kinda expect it to be pretty sturdy as well(The 100% waterproof is required since I ride a motorbike. If it rains while I'm driving a few hours, I like my lappie to stay dry
)
This Roadwarrior looks also like it has what I need. Hence, I'm doubting -
i dont see any specs though with the waterproof one for what it hold notebook wise? or did i miss it..
-
What do you mean?
No, it's not a specific laptop bag, that's true. But if you look at the dimensions, it'll fit nicely. Only thing: you might have to/want to add a sleeve. However, most backpacks have different compartiments, so those might do just fine -
yeah i want something with massive padding built in and thats super soft on the inside. anything like that thats out there...?? i want the most padding i can get lol
-
if you want BIG, get this one
http://store.thewaterproofstore.com/kodiak.html
Maximum Capacity: 18,000 cubic inches (295 Liters)
Overall Size: 38in H x 28in W x 18in D
"This pack is HUGE. How huge? Large enough for the average adult to crawl into." -
lol i didnt mean i need a huge pack i just want the one with the most padding in it lol... that thing is ridiculous...
-
wel, just think off all the laptops you could fit into that
-
Kwakkel, that bag is ridiculously huge. I think using that as a backpack for a laptop is overkill, as you can probably fit a body in there! God I hope thats not how you know about this bag, lol
-
erh
some people in my vicinity suddenly disappeared, but I know nothing! -
that's like half the price SLAPPA asks ^^
I wonder what this is
International shipping seems a bit expensive though
$94 (15 day delivery) or $112 (8 day delivery)
if I take the 15day, the total comes to $150,98 (106,3239 EUR)
for slappa itself, total price with international shipping is 185,89 (130,9085 EUR)
slappa UK would let me have it at £74,96 (or 107,5004 EUR)
seems a pretty nice deal in the UK for me then: i wouldn't need to pay an additional import tax or VAT or whatever -
well here ya go from buy.com for those that want the spyder model FREE SHIPPING ALSO: http://www.buy.com/prod/slappa-spider-notebook-backpack/q/loc/101/205000286.html
-
-
exactly what I said
"what is this"
yes, I know WHAT it is
but I don't know how they can offer this thing about 50% cheaper ^^ (especially since they seem to have only 20 units in stock: a discount for buying a large quantity doesn't seem to be applying here)
and unfortunatly buy.com doesn't seem to ship abroad -
zfactor amazing finds! Thanks for posting this, I'm going to be ordering one very soon even though I don't have my laptop yet!
-
^^^ yep i ordered one last night i may actually order a second one "just to have it" in case i need it for another system lol
-
Are you going to do any testing on the backpack? Say waterproof testing zfactor? If you do please share how well it works!
-
my spyder has shipped out today. that was so fast. got it from buy.com signed up for google checkout and got the extra 10$ off with free shipping it cost me a total of 48.99 shipped..!!!!!!! hope its as nice as everone says they are..
-
Don't forget to do a review.
-
hehe
I ordered mine from slappa UK yesterday evening
I wonder when it'll arrive over here in Belgium
slappa UK gave a 15% discount
and I got a coupon, for another 10%
that made me a total of £69,01 (or $141,3716 or €98,8682) including shipping
that 1 dollar more vs thetwistergroup, won't really make a difference
