For the part week or so my SAGER NP9280 has been running my games much slower than usual. I was thinking it might be some windows problem, but Ive pretty much ruled out viruses, spyware, malware etc. I then downloaded Real Temp to check my cpu temperature and it was not good at all. It was running at above 90 degrees most of the time. This was after the computer had been on for about 1 week straight. I turned it off for some hours and now my game is working fine, but Im still quite worried about the temperature.

This is how it looks after playing a game for a few minutes (game is still running in the background) notice the maximum temperature. GPU while playing is also 90+.

I have the SAGER NP9280 with 950 CPU and 1 GTX280M graphic card.

    Thanks

$5 says you never cleaned it out in a long time.

Are you using FN+1 to make the fans operate on full blast?

+1 to cleaning the thing out.

I opened the cover few days ago and cleaned it a little bit and it didnt do anything. Today I removed the fans and I was in for a big suprise! Where the fans are supposed to blow the air out of the computer was a big layer of dust..

So i cleaned out all the fans and now its working way more quiet and at like 40 degrees less... So yeah, cleaning out the laptop once in a while is a very good idea :)

    Thx
