Have you tried the old trick of removing all power sources (ac adapter and battery) and holding down the power button for about 15 seconds? Sometimes this helps to do a "reset" of sorts. Then I'd suggest plugging in ac only and seeing if it changes anything

yup i try just now
no success though
Suspect its the PSU cuz even though i plug it for 1 hour its still cold lol , isnt it supposed to have some kind of heat on it even though the laptop is not powered ?

I don't know what type of power is used in Singapore or if you're using a US version of the power brick through an inverter, but use a multimeter and check the voltage from the cable before it hits the power brick (For US, its 120V AC, For Singapore, I think its 230V, 50Hz) and check the current on the plug you stick into the laptop (Stick the RED probe into the female part of the plug (that goes into your laptop) and touch the BLACK probe on the outside of the probe). On my P150HM, voltage reads 19.12VDC for US.
Obviously, Don't try this if you don't know what you're doing! -

The adapter will get hot when you're running the machine at full load, but when it's off/not charging it'll be fairly cool to the touch. However, it does sound as though your PSU is faulty if none of your power lights come on when it's plugged in. -
I hope you meant voltage, because checking current would short the power supply and quite likely cause some sort of explosive ending.

thanks rpg711... VOLTAGE, not current. I shouldnt be using a multimeter either!

Yes this is what we need to establish. Is his PSU putting out that sort of voltage. If not then an RMA of a PSU is all that is needed. We are ready to help him now.
Sager has already had a heads up on this...
