I ordered my Laptop on the 2nd of December. After a week of processing, I was impatient. After another week, I was a little upset. A few days go by, estimated to be here soon, getting excited, I get a call from Malibal stating they were out of the screen I had wanted. Ok, holiday season, it's understandable, took 3 weeks to let me know but alright I'll live, went with another screen. Another week goes by, two day airship ships Friday, arrives the 22nd (Tuesday). About 20 seconds after loading the computer I find the screen is bad (red ghost issue). I ask to get it repaired, and ask to be assured it doesn't take all month and come back with a faulty screen-- no reply. While ordering was easy and hell, enjoyable, the rest of the process was somewhat of a hassle. The worst part was being ignored, having no idea what was going on with my laptop and being unable to find out any information.

Malibal, I understand it's the holidays, you guys were/are probably busy beyond belief and I respect that, but at this point I've considered returning the laptop and finding another company. I've still gotten no reassurance, the few times I've asked I've been ignored as if I was being a rude customer for wanting to know I could trust your company.

I'm curious if this is regular, am I over reacting? I mean sure it was only 3 weeks of wait time for my laptop (original est. 1 week), but I was left in the dark almost the whole time. Please, let me know people of NBR, and Malibal.

Also I've found that the NBR Malibal team is much more responsive, and very helpful, hence the post. Kudos for being on top of that guys, thanks, hope you're as responsive this time as you have been for me.

Haha thanks Daryl, I hope so too. I ordered the P151HM1 with the regular matte screen, and I was told I was given the 95% glossy, but I don't really know how to check what the screen is so it might just be regular glossy haha.

Dopple, I've looked up the communications between you and our company since Friday and our average response time to your emails (concerning the red ghosting) has been 10 minutes. We already stated that we were issuing an RMA last Friday, and then followed up by saying we would issue it when we got back from the Christmas Holiday.

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this.

I got a p150hm in November. The screen developed a single line across. Not a hot pixel, but a big ole flickery line in early December.

Sent in a ticket, got an RMA, sent in the laptop. They got it in NY (guess that's a repair facility) on the 14th.

I assume they're swamped due to the holidays, but information has a been a bit sporadic. The last exchange I had was about whether or not I updated the bios (I did to the Sager one right after I got it, worked like a champ), but that was it. That was on Thursday or Friday.

Any idea where my laptop went? Still being fixed?

For the record, the RMA was smooth, the laptop itself is phenomenal, and priced extremely well. I'm just getting sorta antsy since it's been 11 days (yeah, I know holidays and stuff, but I'm immature and impatient. )

    Lord,

I wouldn't be concerned. The holidays tend to result in delays.

I hope that when I order mine, it won't have any defects or screen issues. :(
