Hi everyone, I'm at my wits end at the moment. I purchased an NP8130 last year and I didn't actually receive it until around May 2011. My reseller is nolonger in the business and he tells me that since I ordered my NP8130 from Sager with the date of March 21st 2011, that I am nolonger covered by warranty.
I have an issue where my battery keeps falling out of the compartment. I believe that the plastic tabs in the plastic chassis are weakened or there is something else wrong and I might need to replace the entire plastic underbody to ensure the battery stays in. Right now I've resorted to taping the battery into the compartment with duct tape and it looks horrible and also kills any chance of reselling the unit.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can do? Maybe buy the new EM chassis separately?

Do me a quick favor and PM me the serial number of the laptop and we'll dig into it a little bit. -

One year is the standard warranty length

The warranty began on the date Sager shipped it to you, and ended a year to that date.

Yea, we are working with the OP to see if there is anything we can do for him to get the issue taken care of.
My warranty expired 2 weeks ago and I need a new chassis? :(
