Mythlogic, I love you.

I finally get to make one of these threads of appreciation because yesterday evening, after unboxing my brand new Nyx 3712 (Clevo 370EM) with dual 680m GPUs, a 750GB Cache SATA Momentus XT Solid State Hybrid Drive, and a Samsung 256GB 840 Pro SATA III SSD, I realized that I'd made the right choice in going with Mythlogic. They were there from the very beginning, even through the weeks of me pimping out their Live Chat with questions upon questions. They gave great advice (which was especially helpful to me, considering I initially started off having literally NO idea what specs I wanted my gaming laptop to have). I was able to track the whole process of getting my order ready from the start, and in as much as I was really, really impatient throughout the two and a half weeks of waiting, I was also very appreciative of the fact that they actually took their time to not only assemble the laptop, but also test it thoroughly, before sending it my way (with all test benchmark scores included in a convenient folder on my desktop!) I also requested a custom-painted lid, which was exactly the shade I requested, and I'm inwardly kicking myself now for having not gone with them in the first place. They care, and they're available, and that's just not something I felt I was getting with a lot of other resellers/companies. I would recommend Mythlogic to anyone, hands down! I'll attach a few pictures so you can witness their awesome custom lid paint job for yourself!

Also, a very, very big thanks to the members on forum.notebookreview.com who also helped me through the arduous process of choosing the specs for my laptop! Couldn't have done it without you.

I second this. Considering what you get from these guys, they're the best deal in town. I've had a 1612 for about 3 weeks now, and I love this thing. It was a real pleasure to do business with Mythlogic.

But I'm cringing a bit seeing that laptop up and running... on a comforter... Just the daddy and geek in me that's hoping that you don't use it that way. Get a lapdesk.

Oh absolutely! I got a nice lapdesk for it but was too lazy to fish it out from my closet. xD The only thing I'm concerned about is that the lapdesk has a wooden surface, so I'm nervous it might have a bad effect on the computer's temperatures.

No, any flat hard surface is fine. I figured it was just for photo purposes, but I'd hate to see someone fry their new $3000 baby. In any case enjoy! I'm still considering the NP9370, wish I had gone 17" to start. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

 

Very nice paint job... I'm looking to purchase a laptop very soon (Next Week) gonna have to check out Mythlogic.

I feel the same way about Mythlogic and am extremely happy with the product and service they have provided me. Also, thanks for posting pink computer pictures. My wife LOVES pink and now it may be easier to convince her to spend our money on an awesome gaming rig. Yeah, the guys might think it's funny I have a pink computer, but if it games well, I could care less about the color.
