I recently flashed my bios, which was version 1.05.09b, EC 1.05.06(Pro-Star). unfortunately although it reported a successful flash, it was not. It will power on and the power light blinks 5 times very slowly and the hard drive light will flash a few times but nothing is reported to the display. I read a post on this forum where someone described this issue exactly. This person was able to resolve the issue by removing the cmos battery for 15 minutes, another person described a bios recovery mode in which you hold Fn+B down during boot and load a compatible bios ROM on a flash drive & name it afubios.rom or something like that.
1. Can someone provide me with an appropriate bios?
2. Does anyone have specifics on the bios recovery methodology(how to do it, filename etc)
3. Anything...lmfao
Thankyou.

Hi @charlton
I don't know that the CMOS battery trick will work. Sometimes a simple NVRAM/EC reset will do it (removing AC & Li-Ion battery), but it depends on what the hang-up is, exactly. If you can't manage to recover the system, feel free to get in touch with us. -
