assuming IB, Kepler and AMD 28mm productions are all on time. You will see it no later than June

Question, will the case be out before the new tech and use the same tech as right now or will it only come out when the new stuff gets released?

I don't really think they would carry on the successor with SB and current 40mm GPU... That will just turn everyone down. Impossible..
Beside, new refresh comes with new motherboard (H76 I think) You're not looking at HP my friend (they refresh their top of the line consumer laptops 3 months before IB launches)

I highly doubt it. I think it will come with IB and Nvidia 6xx / AMD 7xxx series. Probably Nvidia due to Optimus.

Almost guaranteed that it won't. The backlit feature will require a power output on the motherboard, which current models don't have. At best you might be able to fit the new keyboards if the form factor is the same, but you wouldn't be able to power it.

    That's basically what it is.
    P150 Backlit

    P170 Backlit
But I hope that's not it, because if you can tell, the key letters are not transparent (as far as I'm staring at it, I hope I'm wrong here), and it would be very disappointing that their so called "illuminated" is just putting some leds underneath the keyboard

Not sure about other colors. But if it's only the white color, I'm sure resellers can mod for a reasonable price (especially XoticPc , they do a lot of aftermarket cosmetic mods).
Hence, IMO Clevo design is about simplicity, too much colors = AW fan boy

My Qosmio didnt come with a b/l keyboard, but I have installed one and I really like it a lot. I like the software that comes with the Toshiba as well. You can turn them on all the time, or have them go off at different lengths of time up to 60 seconds, then they come back on as soon as you touch a key. My Alienware doesnt have that feature, you have to turn them on/off manually. Pain.

I bet if the new back lit keyboard fits in the p150hm it would be pretty easy to get the power for it off of one of the unused ports inside the chassis. there is one on the back that is unused, i think its for a network card or something.

    edit: according to clevo:
    Two Mini Card slots
    - 1st for WLAN half size Mini Card with PCIe and USB interface
    - (Factory Option) 2nd for UMTS/HSPA 3.75G full size Mini Card with USB interface
