Well I seem to have a bit of a conundrum on my hands. I purchased a Sager NP2096 in the summer of '09 and have loved it. Recently though it has been shutting down after 15 to 20 minutes of playing World of Warcraft. To give some background, I have in the past played WoW for 4 to 6 hours without issue. Only recently has this started.

I monitored the GPU temp and saw that around the time of shut-down it was at about 104C.

I do have a Zalman 2000 cooler that has been recently cleaned. And is on high at all times.

Any advice on means of cooling it down would be appreciated as well as any other possible causes.

The following is my system summary.
NOTE: I have a GeForce 9600M GT with 512 MB

You mentioned you recently cleaned your Zalman cooler. Did you take it off completely to clean it or just blow out the dust. If it was taken off completely you might want to check how you did with the thermal paste. Maybe clean it all off and reapply it.

@Hutsady - The zalman cooler is just a laptop cooling stand - it is not part of the laptop, so the thermal paste would not be affected.

@chaseboy - Take the back panel off the laptop and clean out the dust between the fans and heatsinks - service manual is in my sig under 'other' and 'JHL90'
