whenever i connect to my internet with the wireless connection it slows down to about 1/5 of what it normally is. Whenever i connect to the internet with my ethernet cable it goes back to normal speed. I have Vista premium 64 installed. any ideas?

is it possible that other computers/laptops in your wireless network are using most of the bandwidth?

firewall? How is your router configured? Mac Adress or DCHP or what?

On most router, u can adjust bandwidth for each computer (i have mine at unlimited while my brothers' hit the cap at 512kb/s .. eeeeevil me).
