Well folks I must say I am one extremely happy Canadian today. After just over a week my NP 5791 arrived in perfect order :D

I was worried because you never know with shipping and for me anyways unknown brands (I had never heard of Sager before joining this forum) what you will get. Well I am happy to report what I got is prime quality notebook LOL!!!

I will do up a full review once I get all my apps installled and run some benchmarks, but here's what I got:
    NP 5791
    17" 1680X1050 screen - matte
7500 2.2 core duo santa rosa
    160 gig 7200 RPM HD
    2 gigs of ram
nvidia 7950 GTX 512 meg video
    Orange trim and black design
DVD-R drive which is standard as well as all the rest of the standard stuff..

My biggest fear was the screen. I have read all the horror stories of dells and ya never know what to expect. This is also my first laptop so until you see it in person, well...ya just never know. The screen is beautiful. No dead pixels, virtually no bleeding at the bottom, like I mean none. Black is black and white is white. Very happy about this!

The quality is top notch. There is no flex in the keyboard or screen. The finish is beautiful and top rate.

It doesn't feel as heavy as I was expecting either. Although its certainly not light per say. But its a mobile workstation. It lets me move when I need to and thats what I wanted.

My buddy and I noticed the speed of the HD. He has a 5400 drive in his HP and made it known that the installing of apps and such was much faster by a lot. I am glad I opted for this. I will be doing alot of video editing on this machine to so faster is gooder. Yup I just said gooder :D The HD is pretty warm under my right hand though. Its not a bad thing really just something I noticed.

Anyways as I said a full review with pics is upcoming. Just wanted to officially join the ranks here :D

I would like to say a special thanks to Tristan at AET solutions (Canadian reseller) in Montreal for all his help and top notch service. As a Canuack buying a Sager for the first time, he went over and above to get me my notebook.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy
