    Which one doesn't have HDMI?

Aren't there any alternatives like DVI or VGA? (though bluray won't work on those)

I got a DVI-HDMI adapter with my NP5793! so i usually only need a HDMI cable!

U'll have to use a separate audio cable for sound!

Not that I've noticed.. For my TV, HDMI looks like crap and the desktop is bigger than the screen, but VGA works fine and looks sharper in my case.. I know it's analog vs digital but if it's set up properly it should look pretty much the same.

Headphone out to speakers, or routed through your TV to your sound system.

My TV has a PC audio in, so I use a cable like this, (but longer :D).

DVI and HDMI should have the same quality. The only difference is that HDMI Carries sound, and DVI does not.

    like said above.

DVI and HDMI are the same exact digital video signal.... so there is no loss in quality.

if you connect to an HDTV, make sure you set the resolution of the secondary monitor (in the Nvidia Control Panel) to the native resolution of the TV's.... or it will look blurry or not right.

    No, DVI doesn't carry sound.

That will work fine for video, but you will need a separate cable for audio.

Is your HDMI cable 1.3 compliant, and have you tried running 1080p on that cable from any other device?

    i don't know ..... how should i check?
i believe on other device its running 1080i ... not 1080p

and not i try to use nvidia control panel to make it 1920x1080, but the screen just blur + the resfresh rate is limited as 30 ..... which is was 60 when 13xx x 768

By the way, if you're using DVI to HDMI, you'll need a separate cable for audio from your headphone port to your sound system/tv.
