    Hi all,
I just recieved my new 5796 and almost everything is perfect. My problem is with the screen latch. the right latch springs back into place, but the left hand side with the lock icon stenciled above it has no spring motion too it. I would think that they are both latches should behave the same. I was wondering how other peoples latches behaved the same way?

No Worries - what you are seeing is normal for this machine. :)

That left one is a lock if you slide it to the right when the screen is closed. ;)

If you think about it, if they were both sprung, you would not have a spare hand to hold the base with...Therefore due to the quality of the hinge, you would not be able to open the laptop.

Try opening it while holding both latches...
