I have yet to manage to take a still image with the web camera on my NP8660. I can take video clips, I can bring up the controls to take a picture... however I don't seem to be able to take one. Using the bisoncam software if I tell it to take a picture, I get a shutter sound, but I have no idea where to find the file, it's not in the folder my video's are sent to.

I've also tried running it through Photoshop Elements but I just get an error saying that it can't capture the image (it shows the video preview fine though.)

Is anybody else having this problem/does anybody have a solution?

The stills are supposed to be sent to a folder on your desktop titled 'Snapshot'. Not there?

gah.. that's simple... I never thought to check the desktop.. I figured it would go to my documents.. or someplace that makes sense like "my pictures"

    thanks!

Ahh, that was your first mistake - expecting "sensible" behaviour from a piece of software! :D

I think we've all made that mistake (at least, the one about expecting "sensible" behaviour from software :D).
