doesn't look especially potent, but each to his own. i'm very happy with my Zalman NC2000, as are many others.
-
o well i hope for the best out of this cooler. it was the only one i could find instore. and idont really like buying online
-
you should not worry to buy online, especially if you are getting it from a reputable online store or vendor.
I actually got my Zalman ZM-NC2000 locally since the online store was literally down the street.
I just contacted them to pay for it online with shipping, then they refunded the shipping costs if I picked it up in person. -
yeah good point. but do u think this cooler is good enough for a GPU OC?
-
i would not bet a 600$ GPU on it.
-
That Targus is very cheap... under par IMO.
A cooler is best if the airflow is directed to the notebook's fans and vents.
If the the fan(s) line up to a notebooks bottom fans, then it would be OK. -
so whih one do u guys recommend for top line. plus can someone hook me up with a guide on how to flash my gpu for a oc

the zelman NC2000. I have one too and its great. is quiet too and has adjustable speeds and legs.
-

-
www.newegg.com (thats the most trusted american computer hardware retailer in the country) or ebay.

i got mine from SharkaComputers, since they were local to me. -
yep just went to newegg and bought a zelman NC@02000. i was 57 and with 2day shipping it was $73.55. Could someone send me a guide on how to overclock so i can study up for when my cooler gets here. and could someone tell me if can return a cooler from bestbuy that i bought today?
-
-
yeah you can return the cooler to bestbuy, just have the receipt.
At least, you could in Canada.
And I bought the exact same cooler cause I figured any was better than none and I didn't have the option of buying one online. (I was leaving the country and shipping would make it ridiculous to where I live now) - correction I bought a Targus cooler, it's not big enough for my laptop but it does Ok. every store I asked about coolers were like "yeah we have one" and they'd show me some retarded placemat that was supposed to remove heat or some junk cooler to attach to the back of my laptop. I was forced into buying this piece of sh*t for my m860.
It works a bit, nothing stunning.
In fact my HD is hot as hell right now from hours of studying. I'll turn it on for a bit and see if it drops the HD temp. currently 58.
...
5 minutes of running my mini targus thing and it's at 56. not bad.
...
another five minutes and I'm down to 52.
I guess you have to also consider that my HDD rarely tops 53ish. I don't know why it would peak at 58 like that randomly, I haven't done anything weird beyond surfing and flipping through a ppt file in the last couple hours. -
