Hey everyone, for some odd reason, when my computer is not on outlet power, the battery LED flashes and the computer constantly beep. It just started doing this not too long ago but it's rather weird. The battery icon shows the percentage and nothing out of the ordinary. Can someone shed some light on this?

Can you remind me how to check that first before I answer that?

boot up to cmos and then do your test...see if it does it there as well.

    may need a bios/kbc update
could be the charging circuit isn't charging.
trying pulling out the battery and running off ac power only. do the same with battery power only. meaning start the computer in each mode first.
