Hello everyone, I posted here a couple months ago about the NP9150. I bought it and I am loving it. It runs games smoothly, the screen looks great, and overall I really love this laptop. However, I have noticed one problem that is rather annoying.

When I leave the laptop I usually close it and that puts it in sleep mode instead of shutting it down. Sometimes it stays in sleep mode until I open the laptop again, which is how it should be. But sometimes I come back to my laptop to find that somehow it woke up and turned back on even though it was closed. The screen and the keyboard are then really hot and it makes me worry about the longevity of this laptop.

Has anybody else had this problem or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Yes, I always make sure it actually goes to sleep before leaving the room. I can tell when it goes to sleep because the lights all turn off and the fan turns off and is quiet. Usually it stays that way, but occasionally it will randomly wake up while closed and I come back and hear the fan running again. Any ideas?

what peripherals, if any, are connected and how carefully do you monitor programs/services running in the background?

I have one USB flash drive that is always plugged into my laptop. I did that on my old laptop too though and never had problems with it waking up unexpectedly.

As for programs, I always close everything that is open before I close my laptop. But if I open the task manager, there are always tons of little services/processes listed there that I don't have a clue what they are. Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for?
