I searched for WSXGA+ screen on eBay for NP2090, and I found this.
    NEW SAGER NP2090 15.4" WSXGA+ GLOSSY LCD/A - $199+18 ($217)

This makes me into believing LCD Panel compatibility among certain notebook models which share the same kind of LCD Panel.

Sager doesn't have Glossy option and it is pity for some of you.
I understand Matte may have advantage for outdoor usage but still, all LCD screens are prone to sunlight unless you install a hood to provide shade for the screen.

Sager has an option for glossy for 1200x800? Am I incorrect?

But Asus have 1680x1050 in glossy I dont know what to buy!

Sager has 1280x800 Glossy, but not 1680x1050 WSXGA.

I think glossy is best for graphics (gaming, photos, videos) while matte is best for text work.

Could be a fudge up of the facts on the seller's part.

I'm inclined to think the same. I mean, there's no picture of it beyond a stock image of some ripped out LCD; there's no indication in the description about the 2090 or IFL90.

I dunno, seems fishy or at least very, very, very vague.

Well. The thing is, if ASUS C90S and V1B series notebooks can do WSXGA+ with GLOSSY. Why not SAGER? It doesn't make sense, does it?

Besides, more choice the better, correct? :)
I know most of people here prefer matte surface according to the poll. But there are at least 40% who still want glossy.

By the way, the image in the auction is not the actual image, so don't get confused. In addition, these sellers have very good rating.

These LCDs are not original SAGER, they are just 100% compatible.
