Ok, so I've been trying for some time to hear what's coming in through my mic input on my speakers (In this case audio from a PS2, although it just as well may be a normal mic). I've actually tested it using windows sound recorder and I can record/playback sound from the mic input just fine. However, there doesn't seem to be an option anywhere to have the mic directly play through the speakers (even looked in the registry). I'm using the standard integrated audio that came with the laptop and the RealTek drivers. Anyone know how to fix this?

Not exactly sure in your case, but sometimes when just a mic is plugged in, it automatically mutes speakers so as to avoid feedback. If that's the case, a headset might work. Also check settings on your audio program.

I can hear fine out of the speakers (eg. I can turn on music while the mic is plugged in and it hear it). I also tried a headset, and that didn't fix it either. On my old computer, there was a button in the audio options that would enable/disable the mic playing through the speakers, but there doesn't seem to be anything in the sound options like that here. So frustrating!

Ok, I've tried Audacity, but the sound comes out like 1 sec after, so that is really confusing when singing, any answer?
