    Hello folks,

A friend just ordered a new screen WSXGA+ (1680x1050) and when we plugged it, I think the inverter fried because there is no back light on the screen. The screens works but if it was using the lowest setting on brightness. He had a WXGA+ screen (1440x900) before. His computer is a Compal IFL90 (Sager NP2090), what inverter part we should buy to make WSXGA+ screen work? Do you think this one would work?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

Well, since you seem to be in the mood to do the replacement yourself, have you opened yours up to see what the number was?
