    Official Note From Sager

We wanted to thank our customers for being so patient with the supply shortages we have been having with the NP2090. We know that you have been waiting, and we appreciate you hanging with us as we are working our best to resolve these issues. Sager has been working hard with our suppliers, and we are pleased to tell you that as of August 20, 2007, Sager expects its supply of the NP2090 with WSXGA+ LCD Screen to be stabilized. We will act to fulfill orders immediately for those of you that have been waiting, and we expect thereafter to have a steady supply.

Justin, thanks for the update, very good news :) .
But I did not quiet understand. Do you have already some of WSXGA+ in stock or the shipment will arrive on August 20.

Thanks for the update Justin. I'll probably send an e-mail your way when I get home regarding an ETA for my specific order, but I was a bit confused by your post as well.

It sounds to me as if this was the note you recieved directly from Sager and that on August 20th they will be able to fill all orders that you and their other customers have placed with them. Does this mean there is a chance of them shipping some more before the 20th and they will expect to be caught up on that date, or they will all likely ship out on the 20th meaning after assembly/testing/shipping we can expect to recieve ours early September?

Are there any other things lacking that effect this such as Bluetooth, 1x2GB RAM, or TV Tuner, or have these issues all been resolved.

    THANKS!

The notice means we will resume shipment on the 20th and should be able to start to catch up to the back orders throughout the week / months with good supply support from Sagers supplier.

(The TV Tuner is the only item that has not arrived)

Well, this is some good news. It seems that I'll be getting it a bit later than I had hoped (I'll have little time to install my operating systems and applications), but nonetheless, it is good news.

pretty sure the resellers dont touch the Sager's, Sager does all the testing and ships them from there.

AdamW is correct unless you are in California, in which case we have Sager ship them to us, and then we ship back in to California. That way we do not collect sales tax.

We have no idea when, or even if Compal will provide glossy screens on the IFL90 WSXGA+ screen.
