I ordered my WXGA Sager 2090 with no bluetooth or tv tuner, and 1x2gb ram on July 28th from xoticpc but didn't submit payment info until August 3rd. Does this mean I'm out of luck?

I assume this is a Sager press release, and not just a XoticPC release, correct?

Not that it matters much, as PNB already confirmed mine was entering production this week. Wow I am excited.

I ordered a TV Tuner, I guess I'm going to cancel that from my order and order http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815100017 with this Newegg coupon:
That should get me a great deal and HDTV compatibility.

Mixxster is that an external TV tuner? I'm looking to get one in the future. Although it claims its high-def though, on the list of inputs I don't see any high def choices.

AFAIK, S-Video has a max resolution of 480i or 576i and is considered Standard Def, and RCA composite video is also Standard. How are the high-definition signals received?

Yeah, its external, the tuner uses the RF port and the RF converter to connect to a standard coaxial cable line. Coaxial lines can carry HDTV channels. But now that I think about it, it might be near impossible to tune them in seeing as this tuner doesn't support QAM ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QAM_tuner ). But it does have the option of picking up HDTV over-the-air from an antenna.

    Another downside:

I ordered my Sager 2090 WXGA on August 9th. No bluetooth and no TV Tuner.

    Status: PRE-ORDER Pending Item Arrival

Just putting this up for reference for others ordering. If the orders from early July through August 2nd will be shipped by the end of this week, I'd expect mine in by next week, unless Sager runs out again. :/

I believe they are still working to fill all orders up to August 2, 2007 by the end of this week. Hopefully they'll be able to go past that. I start college pretty soon.
