I'd like to reformat and install 32 bit Vista on my NP2090, and was wondering If there would be anything that would be driverless/not work if I did this. I'd also like to know if some of the programs that I'm unsuccesfully trying to install on 64 bit Vista would work with 32 bit.

    Thanks

i reformatted to 32.. had no problems with drivers and chances are more things will work when you move to 32bit

If you don't have your driver disk, then go to Sager's website and download the drivers and burn them onto a CD or copy onto a USB thumb drive.

Hey, sorry to sort of hijack this thread, but I have a few questions about this. I also reinstalled Vista 32-bit after my NP2090 came with Vista 64-bit. I deleted the windows.old folder, but the Program Files (x86) folder is still there with copies of most of the folders that are in my normal Program Files folder. I tried to move it to the recycling bin but it wouldn't let me. I thought the Program Files (x86) folder was just for 32-bit programs in 64-bit vista, so can/should I delete this folder and if so, how would I delete it?

I'd just suggest backing up some settings files and reinstalling using clean install (format).

The Program Folders (x86) is a part of the 64-bit operating system.
It is where 32-bit programs will be installed which is probably most of your applications.
"Program Folders" for the 64-bit OS is for 64-bit applications only.

If you want more of an explanation, let me know.
