wow it couldn't come at a better time, i been wanting to get a 15.4" system to take on the go.

and was planning to upgrade my sager 9260 to 9262 with 8800M SLi, with my tax return.

now i think i will do the upgrade and pickup a 2092 as well.

Well, Clevo is coming out with a new 15" notebook with an 8800M GTX, so the price drop was imminent. Good luck with your purchase, should still be one hell of a notebook.

Price drop? Don`t think so. Maybe some special offers, but that`s about all you`ll be able to get.
It`s a decent price as it is,although the Gateway p-FX thingy kinda ruins all the fun in competition, neh?

I count that as a special offer :D
It`s something that happened a lot with the 579x for example. It`s expected in Sager systems, and it`s a cool thing.

Does the 8600 in the 2092 have GDDR3 or 2?

And what is the new Clevo model?

    Ah, sadness...

Would it be wiser to wait til the new one comes out? Will the 15" be around the same price as the 2092 is right now?

I would expect it to be more expensive then the 2092. It hard to speculate the price point it will come in at. (likely around the price 5793)

It all depends what you need the machine for and when you need the machine. I think it is going to be a little while before it is shipping.

Ok, well i guess i'll just go ahead and order the 2092 then. It would have been nice to have the 8800gt GDDR3, HDMI output and e-SATA.

Is the M860TU the one thats taking the 2092's place?

Is there an option to have the battery on the back FLUSH with the laptop instead of sticking out like i see in the pictures?
