So i have a NP2096 and everything should be explained in that photo (specs and temperature) when i took this screenshot i was doing nothing but sitting on facebook yet still my GPU was 71 Degree's C. when i play games it gets to the point where the bottom of the laptop actually burns to touch (not like "ooh thats hot" but "OMG get me water this is going to leave it blistering) Even with a Duel Fan "gaming" laptop cooler my laptop has over-heated and shut down on my multiple times. I have in fact cleaned all the dust out of my GPU and heat sinks and i do so at least once a month but that doesnt seem to help in the least bit..

anything i can do to fix this?

Maybe its time to reapply the thermal paste?

Yes, you could definitely re-apply the thermal compound.
In addition I'd re-flash the BIOS as well, and check your GPU fan if it's going strong.

You could also check the GPU utilization with nvidia system monitoring which comes with ntune.
