heya everyone, i got my laptop a few days ago and have tried playing around with different software. but for some reason the driver for my fingerprint reader isn't installing, it mentions something about not having a particular pathway. i'm downloading the newer version of the driver on the compal site as we speak, however i've tried it before so i'm not keeping my hopes up. any suggestions?

update, it doesn't recognize a device and it also installed fingerlogon which apparently is missing some files and will not load, nor uninstall. has a nice pop up though when i turn on my laptop saying its missing a file that i can't seem to find... anyone experience this before? btw i'm running windows xp pro sp3
