I got a Sager NP2096 last summer and love it. But after playing a game for a while it will start to have huge lag spikes. When this happens no program is using an absurd amount of RAM and my processor isn't even working hard (as far as I can tell in the task manager). So I was wondering if it was overheating. The lag spikes last only for a few minutes, disappear for a few minutes, then come back. It has a 9600M that consistently runs over 100 degrees C and the processor is around 75 degrees C. I don't know much about temps, but these seem really hot :/

You just answered your own question, my friend. Clean out the vents and replace the thermal paste on the GPU.
