It is a new model you will see showing on many sites. It is built off the Compal NBLB2.

Hi Justin- do you have a pic of the underside with the cover off to see how the cooling system looks on this machine? I'm asking because I was interested in the 7652 before, however the cooling on that one had passive exhaust with an active fan intake. I'd rather have the other way- active exhaust with passive intake. Can you shed any light?

Hey I'm interested in getting an np2180, but I'm confused why it seems that nobody owns this laptop. From what I can tell it's a "light" 15-incher with good build quality (better than msi), a great screen, and a decent gpu.

Do most people just suck up the weight and get a heavier computer with a better gpu? Is there a better alternative?

I've heard reviews claiming the NP2180's chassis to be relatively weak compared to the NP5125 and other 15" laptops.

Additionally, poor battery life, lack of Optimus, ugliness (personal opinion), and weight caused me to get the NP5125 over it, despite the weaker parts.
