I've had an NP5125 for a few months now and I finally have some free time to deal with the issues it's had out of the box and so I thought I'd run it by you all in case there are some really obvious solutions.

    First off: video drivers
The drivers available from Sager at the time weren't cutting it (Empire Total War wouldn't even give me the option to select anything above mid-low specs), so I used the Verde workaround that were posted on the boards here at the time. I never did get to play much, but this did seem to solve the issues in that regard and, as an added bonus, programs started being recognized under the individual program settings.

The downside, however (and this may not be a consequence but rather simply something I didn't notice until afterward), is that a great deal of flash-compressed video: youtube, IGN, Dailymotion, etc. will come out bright green, artifact-y and utterly unwatchable a significant percentage of the time.

Second Issue (may be connected to the first): Blu-Ray
When I tried out my first Blu-Ray movie (FINALLY), the menus and the advertisements worked gloriously, but as soon as it got into the movie itself, the image zoomed (so only a portion of the image was visible), was interlaced, black and white and in the upper center of the screen, the only color, was a blue arc. Clearly, the movie is utterly unwatchable as such.

    Third Issue: USBs
I have certain USB devices that claim they don't get a regular flow of electricity from the USB, no matter which USB port I'm using (most notably my phone). Is this a fault of the device or is there something funky going on with my USB?

    Fourth Issue: Purely Cosmetic
The Blu-Ray disc-slot doesn't sit flush with the side of the laptop: it starts out flush and then the closer it gets to me the more it sticks out. Additionally, the keyboard frame around the same place (around the 3 and enter keys on the number pad), is also not flush with the body, but rather juts out a little. My question regarding these minor issues: is this consistent among other users, or was mine merely not put together as cleanly. On the upside, I don't have the rattling keyboard the Notebook Review review identified, so cosmetic things like this don't concern me much.

Thank you all for hearing me out: if you have any solutions or suggestions pertaining to any of the four things I've identified (there may be more I forgot to list), I look forward to hearing from you about it!
